Flight To The North Pole

Able Forces is honored to be selected by iHeartRadio as the non-profit organization assisting with the Flight To The North Pole event for children of local Wounded Warriors. Radio celebrity Kane of The Kane Show has worked on this concept for over 7 years and this year it has become a reality.
Able Forces is working closely with local military bases to identify families with "Santa-believing" children that will take a "flight" to the North Pole to personally meet with Santa, enjoy milk, cookies, and oh yes, receive presents. It will be an unbelievably memorable “flight” for sure!

NORVA Rod & Gun Club - Disabled Veteran Hunt

Steve Carter (lower right), Senior Manager-Operations at Able Forces once again teamed up with NORVA Rod & Gun Club, Virginia Hunter Education Association and Parker Crossbows to hold the 6th Annual Disabled Veteran Hunt.  This year 11 Disabled Veteran hunters from the local area joined together 9 through 11 October at the NORVA Rod & Gun Club for the hunt.  Not to be out done by previous year’s hunts, these hunters spent the weekend, eating home cooked meals like you would find at a resort, hunting with NORVA guides and enjoying in the comradery that all service members share.  As with previous hunts, Parker Crossbows provided the crossbows and accessories.  One of the highlights was one lucky hunter taking home one of the bows from this year’s free raffle.   A great time was had by all and we look forward to next year’s hunt.

Able Forces selected as a Great Non Profit for Third Consecutive Year!

Able Forces is very proud of our achievement for the 3rd consecutive year of being selected as a Great Non Profit.  This honor is most meaningful because it is directly linked to input provided by our customers, clients, and business associates.

A HUGE thank you to each of my staff who once again have excelled in their support of our Mission to provide employment exclusively to Wounded, Ill, and Injured Warriors, and to assist those warriors and families in financial crisis.

This is a great honor and we are proud to have the opportunity to assist those who have given so much.

Skip Rogers, Co-Founder/Executive Director.
